Shades of Day

I do not have eyes to see only shades of gray. The colors of brick and concrete buildings do not paint my feelings. My words are not a wall behind which I hide my self. My heart is not meant to just feel a dull ache throughout the day.

I will not compromise the meaning and beauty in life for the sake of being safe in the corner of my mind.
